A new tent design from Denver-based Redverz Gear provides an enclosed space in the tent to keep motorcycles safe and secure.
It can be difficult enough to get comfortable while roughing it in a tent without having to worry about the safety of your motorcycle as well. A new tent design from Denver-based Redverz Gear has that problem taken care of, however, by providing an enclosed space in the tent to keep motorcycles safe and secure. Formerly known as The Nomad Tent Company, Redverz created its motorcycle-friendly tent out of frustration with traditional offerings, most of which leave motorcycles vulnerable to both the elements and prying eyes. “When we’re out on the road for weeks or even months at a time we want our gear and bike securely out of sight, we want to stand up to change clothes, a space to work on the bike and a tent that’s simple – slide three poles, and it’s up,” the company explains. Accordingly, its Series II Expedition Tent features a spacious garage bay that can be used not only to shelter a motorbike but also for cooking and relaxing under cover or as a storage area, workshop or dressing room. An inner tent, meanwhile, offers enough headroom to stand up and sleep two people in a footprint that accommodates a queen-size air bed. Priced at USD 449, the Redverz tent packs down to 10 inches by 21 inches and weighs 13 pounds. It is available in green and yellow. The video below demonstrates the durable tent’s ability to withstand high winds: It’s a rare product category that can’t be expanded with niche offerings. What specific segments or purposes could your brand target with a new, narrowly tailored offering? Spotted by: Matthew Smith
